Glendurgan Garden is situated in the Cornish countryside. In the 1800s, Glendurgan Valley was purchased by Alfred Fox. Over the two decades Alfred owned the valley, he developed it into a semi-tropical paradise. The valley is split into three different sections, and the steep valley allows vulnerable plants to thrive due to being sheltered by taller and bigger plants. His worldwide travel inspired him, which influenced different parts of the gardens.
